It can be tough in winter for those of a gardening kind, but where there's a will there's also a way. There's also opportunity though to pause and take things steady, as I wish to point out.
Thanks, Gary, for the permission. I feel better now. I've taken the time to review my gardening goals and objectives, and I am currently working on a to-do list. "...these peaceful days shall pass, sap shall rise again with passion, gardens will flourish and this winter pause will become but a memory." Right!
I enjoyed this. Quite informative and thought provoking. I have just had a discussion with my son today when he said 'who gardens in January?' I was asking to pop a few spring bulbs into some pots for me because they were already growing within the bag I was storing them in. He wasn't convinced but I did persuade him to lift a couple of pots for me so I can plant them myself. I'll wait until the snow has thawed however.
Thanks for comment. It’s definitely a good time to get those bulbs potted if they’re growing, I’d guess they’re for use outdoors, so once potted might benefit from being kept cooler, that may slow them a bit. Best of luck!
Happy New Year Gary - all the best for 2025 - wise words ...!
Thank you ☺️ Happy New Year to you too Steffie!

You’re very welcome! Wishing you all the best with your goal setting, there’s nothing like the draw of a new growing season to inspire us!

Thank you Gary. I was thinking that I should probably harden them off slowly.
